All of our services have specific increments of time and we would much rather spend most of that time on the actual service instead of prepping . Here a few things you can do help prepare for your eyelash service.
EYELASH EXTENSIONS TIPS
PRE APPOINTMENT TIPS
Washable Mascara: Washable mascara needs to be removed before your application. We provide all the wipes and remover you’ll need, just arrive early for your appointment.
Waterproof Mascara: Please refrain from using waterproof mascara for up to 2 days before your appointment. Waterproof mascara leaves a lasting film on your lashes that’s not easily removed without oils (an enemy to eyelash extensions). Traces of waterproof mascara that’s left on your natural lashes can weaken the bond of the medical grade adhesive…the result? Extensions that don’t last as long.
IT’S IDEAL IF YOU DON’T WEAR MASCARA TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Contact Lenses: Contact lenses shouldn’t be worn during your service, so please be prepared to remove them. We can provide contact lens cases and solution to store them if you don’t have your own on hand. It’s a good idea to arrive early to remove them.
POST APPOINTMENT TIPS
No Mascara: We recommend that you don’t apply mascara to your extended lashes. If you just can’t part with your mascara, please use sparingly and choose a mascara specially formulated for eyelash extensions – only apply to the top half of your extensions. (applying too much to the base can cause your lashes to clump together making removal and touchup appointments a real challenge)
No Oil: Try to keep oil away from your lashes as it weakens the bonding power of the adhesive. Double check the labels on your cosmetics, facial cleansers and makeup remover. Use oil free products.
No Tinting or Perming: Eyelashes can’t be properly tinted or permed if you’re wearing extensions. So please don’t.
No Rubbing or pulling on synthetic lashes: Be gentle with your lashes and keep touching them to a minimum.
No manual eyelash curler: Your extensions are already curled and using a manual eyelash curler on them can cause them to bend or break. If you want curlier lashes, simply ask your technician for a stronger curl on your next visit.

BROW EXTENSIONS & SCULPTING TIPS
PRE APPOINTMENT TIPS
Eyebrow conditioners: Please don’t use eyebrow conditioners on the day of your appointment. Conditioners may contain ingredients that will weaken the adhesive and gels used, resulting in eyebrow extensions that don’t last or sculpting gel that won’t stay on the skin.
Eyebrow Gels: Eyebrow gels can leave a film on the hairs that are challenging to remove. Please try not to use gels before your appointment.
Waxing: Please do not wax your brows on the same day as your SCULPTING appointment. Waxing will make your skin too sensitive to safely apply the gel. Waxing however, is fine when paired with Eyebrow Extensions.
Exfoliate: We recommend exfoliating the skin around your eyebrow area the day before your appointment. You won’t be able to scrub your extended and sculpted brows after application, so it’s a good idea to take care of this part of your skin care regimen before your appointment.
POST APPOINTMENT TIPS
Keep brows dry: it’s best to keep your brows away from water for the 1st 24 hours. This
No Heat: No saunas, steam rooms or direct heat for the 1st 24 hours after your brow appointment.
No Oil: Please keep oil away from your brows in order for them to last as long as possible.
No rubbing or scrubbing: If you rub your brows or scrub them with cleansers, you run the risk of pulling them out with your actual eyebrow hair. Use a clean makeup brush or tissue to gently wipe away what you need to.
No scratching: If you’ve got an itch, don’t scratch. Just gently tap the area instead.
